Mickey Moua, DDS
I attended dental school at the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis, Minnesota. I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree in 2006 and have been practicing dentistry for about a dozen years. I chose a career in dentistry because I enjoy helping people improve their smile and gain confidence. It is amazing how big of a difference a good set of teeth can make. I now do my best to make a difference in the town I grew up in and lived in for more than 30 years.
I work with a wonderful team that is very dedicated to helping our patients obtain their goals. We keep the atmosphere positive and enjoyable. My staff members are extremely friendly, personable, and very considerate because we care and understand how the oral cavity can affect greatly the lives of our patients. Not only do my staff and I serve the people of Merced, our families are part of the community.
I keep up to date with advances in dentistry by taking continuing education courses from multiple sources such as the University of California San Francisco, the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry, and dental societies in California. I usually attend courses that interest me and are relevant to the practice of dentistry. Whether it's a new skill or improving on an existing, I believe that hands-on learning is the best ways to learn.
The best part of my job is that I enjoy what I do and at the same time, I am able to help others improve the health of their mouth and affect them positively in multiple ways. Not only do our patients learn from us, but we also learn a great deal from them.
